This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) governs the procedure for the collection, processing, and protection of personal data of users of streetwallsgallery.com and streetwallsgallery.by (together, the “Websites”), operated by Individual Entrepreneur Aleksei Ivanovich Grin, Taxpayer Identification Number (UNP) 491706250, Republic of Belarus (hereinafter — the “Gallery”).

By using the Website, you confirm your consent to this Policy. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not use the Website.

1. General Provisions

1.1. The Gallery ensures the protection of users’ personal data in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the principles of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1.2. This Policy defines what data we collect, how we use, store, and transfer it.

1.3. The Gallery does not disclose personal data to third parties without legal grounds, except in cases expressly provided for by law or necessary to fulfill a contract with the user.

2. Data We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • First and last name;
  • Email address;
  • Contact phone number;
  • Postal address for delivery;
  • Order and payment history;
  • Contact-form message content, where you choose to send it;
  • IP address and technical information (cookies, browser type, language, access time).

Where GDPR applies, order, payment, and delivery data are processed because this is necessary to take steps requested by the user and to enter into or perform the purchase contract. Processing for accounting, tax, and other mandatory records is necessary for legal obligations. Contact Form data is used to respond to the user’s request or, where applicable, for the Gallery’s legitimate interest in responding to an ordinary enquiry.

Required checkout fields are necessary to accept, pay for, and deliver the order. Phone is optional. Without required information, the Gallery may be unable to accept or fulfil the order.

3. Purposes of Data Processing

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • to process and fulfill orders (sale of artworks);
  • to contact you regarding order or delivery details;
  • to process payments via the BePaid payment system;
  • to respond to enquiries submitted through the Contact Form;
  • to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting requirements).

4. Data Storage

4.1. The Gallery uses service providers, including Supabase, to store and process order data. Contact-form messages are sent to the Gallery mailbox through Gmail and are not written to Supabase by this form.

4.2. Order and delivery data may be stored and processed using Supabase.

4.3. Access to the database is granted only to authorized Gallery employees who use it for order processing and communication purposes.

4.4. Data is retained no longer than necessary for processing purposes, but not less than the retention period required by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus (e.g., for accounting purposes).

5. Processing of Payment Data

5.1. All payments on the Website are processed through the certified payment system BePaid (LLC “BePaid”, Republic of Belarus).

5.2. When making a payment, you are automatically redirected to BePaid’s secure payment page.

5.3. Payment card details are entered and processed directly on BePaid’s hosted payment page. The Gallery does not receive or store full card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, PINs, or expiry dates.

5.4. BePaid processes payment data through its hosted payment page.

5.5. To create and process a payment, the Gallery provides BePaid with the customer and billing information necessary for that purpose. BePaid returns payment status and transaction information to the Gallery.

6. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

Your data may be disclosed only in the following cases:

  • to government authorities upon a lawful request (e.g., tax or law enforcement bodies);
  • to delivery services — solely for order fulfillment (name, address, phone number);
  • to the payment operator BePaid — for payment processing;
  • to the technical partner Supabase — for data storage.
  • to Gmail — to deliver Contact Form messages to the Gallery mailbox;

Data is shared only to the extent necessary to perform the relevant service.

7. Cookies and Analytics

7.1. We use cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the Website, analyze traffic, and improve user experience.

7.2. Analytics and cookie technologies may process technical identifiers and information about use of the Websites.

7.3. Users may disable cookies in their browser settings.

7.4. To analyze website traffic, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (USA).

7.5. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect statistical information about user interactions with the Website (page views, device type, browser, approximate location).

7.6. Google Analytics processing is subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy documentation.

Where prior consent is required for analytics, Google Analytics starts only after consent. You can change this choice through the Cookie settings link in the footer.

8. User Rights

Users have the right to:

  • obtain information about their personal data and the purposes of its processing;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of their data if storage is no longer required (“right to be forgotten”);
  • withdraw their consent to data processing;
  • where applicable, request restriction of processing, object to processing, or receive portable data;
  • file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority of the Republic of Belarus or with an EU supervisory authority in their country of residence (if the user is an EU resident).

Upon receiving such a request, the Gallery will cease processing the data, except where storage is required by law (for example, for accounting or tax reporting purposes).

9. Data Protection

We implement all necessary organizational and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including:

  • encrypted connections (HTTPS, SSL/TLS);
  • restricted access to the Supabase database;
  • employee access control;
  • regular security system updates.

10. Data Retention Period

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including order fulfilment, delivery, returns, disputes and applicable accounting, tax, or legal obligations. It is then deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

11. International Data Transfer

External service providers may process data in countries different from the customer’s country when necessary to provide their services.

Such processing is carried out under applicable data-protection law.

12. Policy Updates

The Gallery reserves the right to amend this Policy to reflect changes in partners or data processing practices.

The current version of the Policy is always available on the Website.
