This stencil painting delivers a sharp commentary on consumer culture and the power of branding. The crumpled soda can, depicted in stark contrasts of black, white, and deep red, becomes a symbol of both recognition and waste. It suggests that the world’s most popular and dominant brands, whose logos are instantly recognizable, are also among the most polluting and waste-generating forces in modern society. The rough edges of the painted fabric and the aggressive splatters of red paint heighten the sense of urgency and confrontation. They evoke both the raw energy of street art and the destructive imprint of mass consumerism. By choosing such a familiar object, the artist reminds us how deeply these brands are embedded in our daily lives — so familiar that their presence persists even when reduced to discarded trash. Through simplicity of form and intensity of color, the work achieves a duality: it is visually striking yet conceptually unsettling. This piece is not just an aesthetic object but a critical reflection on the contradictions of modern culture, where global recognition often comes hand in hand with global pollution.

About the artist

tcp375 paints on walls simply because it’s fun. For him, street art is an easy way to share thoughts and make the city feel more alive. Stencils have become his favorite tool: they allow him to leave a quick image and disappear just as quickly. This is especially valuable in the sterile cities of Eastern Europe. The artist also experiments with anti-vandal approaches, hanging canvases directly on the streets — this lets viewers encounter art in an unexpected setting. In 2025, tcp375 held a street art exhibition in Minsk, showing that his journey is only just beginning. The gallery is proud to collaborate with tcp375 and believes that his energy and street language will resonate with a wide audience.
