The first messenger

  • Size: 20 x 20 cm
  • Material: canvas on fiberboard, gesso, MTN 94 spray paint
  • Year: 2024

At the center of the work is the image of an old public phone, created with stencil technique on a soft blue background. The artist turns to a time before digital chats and social networks, reminding us that such devices were once the main “messenger” connecting people. The concise composition transforms nostalgia for the analog world into a quiet statement about how the means of communication change, while the human need to be heard remains the same.

About the artist

tcp375 paints on walls simply because it’s fun. For him, street art is an easy way to share thoughts and make the city feel more alive. Stencils have become his favorite tool: they allow him to leave a quick image and disappear just as quickly. This is especially valuable in the sterile cities of Eastern Europe. The artist also experiments with anti-vandal approaches, hanging canvases directly on the streets — this lets viewers encounter art in an unexpected setting. In 2025, tcp375 held a street art exhibition in Minsk, showing that his journey is only just beginning. The gallery is proud to collaborate with tcp375 and believes that his energy and street language will resonate with a wide audience.
