In this work, the image of Marilyn Monroe is reinterpreted through the aesthetics of street art and pop art. Her face appears as an icon of mass culture, surrounded by bright colors, lettering, and graphic signs reminiscent of magazine covers and street posters. “Queen Monroe” reflects the phenomenon of star worship — when a real person turns into an eternal symbol, endlessly reproduced and reimagined. The artist emphasizes her status as a pop queen while also revealing the fragility of an image that exists between myth, advertising, and the viewer’s personal fantasy.

About the artist

A simple city guy who finds beauty in torn posters and painted walls. For him, these fragments tell the story of our time — raw, layered, and alive. LUCK began creating his own collages from pieces of old street posters, turning them into reflections of fading eras of cinema, music, and culture. His works are a dialogue between what once was and what still echoes in the urban landscape. Each collage is both a memory and a statement — a way to preserve the spirit of the street and the fleeting pulse of everyday life. The gallery is proud to collaborate with LUCK, whose sensitivity to urban texture and cultural nostalgia adds a distinctive voice to contemporary street art.
